Yeah Mon at The Shack

So last night was dinner at the Shiggidy Shack and entertainment by the Fire-Man. Mom was able to confirm that the lobster was exactly what people had said it was - delicious. It looked like 3 lobsters on the plate (a separate plate was necessary for the veggies/rice), but apparently there's a trick to cutting them. The picture does NOT make this look appetizing, but there were a lot of mmmmmm sounds and scraping of plates (we didn't get the plate and finger licking part on film), so it must have been good.



Then it was time for the Fire Man. The one-man band, Star Shield made us yell "yeah mon" a lot and then brought out the amazin' blazin' Fire Mon!!!! Then we got to hear the same song played over and over again while the Mon did his thing. What was hysterical was this couple seated next to us enjoying their lobster and not once looking up at the act that was going on. The Fire-Man even walked right up to the table and then looked amazed as the couple just kept their faces in their food and seemed oblivious to the excitement an arm's length away (and no, they had not seen the spectacle before). I mean, that had to be some tasty lobster...


Today, Mike caught a ride into work from a co-worker and I'm going to have to find my way to the fire station to get a local driver's license. Then we're going to try to locate and get to the huge fort and hope we don't hit anything on the way there. I drove into the capital last week and only hit the curb once, only drove on the wrong side of the road once, and only parked once partially crooked. Mom only screamed once too...
