Beach Days at Sandy Bank are the Best

It is imperative that we get a beach day in once a week, and after a week like the last one, today was very nice.

Notice this black cloud stretching across the sky? The only thing I can think of that would cause such a thing is the Montserrat volcano. As of Friday, the Observatory said it was a low-activity week, but maybe something's changed. That's not normally the side of the island we see the smoke though, so hopefully it's not something bad going down on Nevis or Antigua. Guess we'll have to see if anyone mentions it.



The road to the peninsula is still one lane with the retaining wall taking up the other half. Wonder how long it'll be like that.







I'm very much hoping The Cable figures out what's going on with the internet lines, or else Renee is going to be a very unhappy camper. That's not good. These latest blog entry uploads have been a miracle. Can't you leave you hanging can I?
