Back to normal?

Well, let's hope we can get to what passes for normal here. Crime won't be solved overnight, but it does seem to have finally hit the front burner. This guy had some good ideas too. Unfortunately, it always comes down to money and priorities (and politics). Let's just hope they don't screw this one up. The few perps they've caught to date have only been released later for insufficient evidence. As it is now, no one's been charged with anything and they've got 24 hours before they make the round up official or release these "persons of interest"...UPDATE: 3 were charged

And life goes on. Tourists will be protected as if they were the Ministry's own kids and people will have fun here like they usually do. I heard that a Clipper cruise ship was here yesterday and passengers went to the Fort and had a perfectly wonderful time just like the thousands of tourists before them.

There are a number of island hikes planned and even a mini-triathlon to look forward to this weekend. The weather has been fantastic, so let's hope it stays that way. We're starting to get pale!













There's a lot coming up the following weekend too. Besides some folks celebrating Thanksgiving, there will be another attempt at the Regatta; Beaumont's horses will be racing (free?!), and Spice Mill's teamed up with Alliance-Francaise to put on a concert down on Cockleshell Beach. Let's focus on the good things St. Kitts has to offer for a bit, shall we?
