Alright, I know its a dumb headline but the only word I could think of for participants who can't get enough of hash running on this beautiful island of St. Kitts and because we've had so many hash events this month.

Previous Hash in Cayon

This group of mishmash of runners, hikers, and walkers are always doing something good for the community and unfortunately I haven't even been able to attend all of the events or hashes lately.

But, I will be there to support the group for their 20th Anniversary "Hashtacular" events. There is no reason why you shouldn't be out to help support them too. I see no down side to paying 2 E.C. dollars (less than 1 U.S. dollar) hiking or running in a new area of St. Kitts or Nevis every 3 weeks. If you can think of any negatives to this, then please let me know.

Let me first tell you the details of the Hash run we have going on THIS Saturday, October 11th near Molineux and then I'll explain the 20th Anniversary Hash Extravaganza details. (Extravaganza is a word Kittitians love to use for their events.)

On Saturday, Hash number 329 will commence in the Molineux area at Fraites & Sons Bakery Parking Lot at 3:30 p.m. Here are the directions but it's almost impossible to miss since it's right on the island main road and you should see the yellow Fraites Bakery vans too.

How to get there : Take the island main road from Basseterre, past the airport, Conaree village, Cayon, Ottleys and Lodge. After you exit Lodge Village you will come to a small roundabout. Take the right turn at the roundabout, which would continue on the island main road, but just after you make the turn, look for the large yellow building with a blue roof and blue trim. You can't miss it. It's clearly marked "Fraites & Sons Bakery".

You can't miss this hash because yours truly and Greg-Sa-Far-I are setting the run and this area is one of my favorites on the entire island because of it's natural secluded beauty. If you know Greg than you know that he knows St. Kitts better than anyone.

Ok, so now that you know what events are taking place you need to REGISTER NOW or at Saturday's Hash.

If you did attend the 5th Annual Children's Home Walk/Run on Saturday October 4 and signed your name with the usual hash attendance taker then the run counts as a hash of its own. That event drew quite a turn out.

With all of the hashes and events going on this month you could really get some attendance points. We had the Children's walk/run, This Saturday's hash, The 20th Anniversary Hash, and The Nevis Hash. That's four hashes in one month!! That should quench your hash thirst.

In the meantime make sure you patronize and thank the sponsors for the Anniversary Weekend Events.  ON! ON!
